Developers need to get behind the opening of a new portal at the west end of the Redline Station to facilitate access to the Red Line.
Developer shuld get behind the development of a silver line electric bus line connecting communities north east of Cambridge and the Allston deelopments, Long wood medical center and the work force in
roxbury to facilitate access to jobs at this building and others in kendall square by working the urban work force .

The open space above the sub station is a great opportunity for an art pavement. See examples in Lisbon and other Portuguese cities. It would be a salute to the many families from Portugal and te islands who have lived in East Cambridge for generations. Given the underground structures just below the surface, this would be an opportunity for a fountain and large flower pots rather than trying to plant big trees .
The open space could become a cross roads for people moving from Fulkerson Street and One Kendall and in the future from T stops on the Grand junction so restaurants and small shops could thrive if the plaza is well designed and attractive and also wind protected.
Also, Make the retail space at the base of the residence available as condominiums so that local retailers can own their own shops and be able to control their rental costs.

What is the cumulative impact on public transit needs of the existing and proposed Boston Properties projects ?
Are you prepared to support further improvements on the red line and the development of a light rail service on the adjacent Grand junction multi path right of way ?

Can you estimate the residential and commercial population that will be added to the site plus the number of people in existing BP buildings adjacent to the site .With the population profile it will be easier to respond to what open space and retail services may be desirable in the project as proposed.

Please identify the amount of open space te project will provide. And where it will be located . Without that, it is difficult to suggest realistic proposals for open space uses .
