Packard is a busy bike route but it's also a hot spot for car/bike crashes. Ideally we should have a protected bike lane the length of Packard, but this stretch especially has plenty of room. We also need to treat the intersections with all the cross streets to slow down car turning speeds to protect both pedestrians and bicyclists.

protected bike lanes on both sides of packard for the entire length between ann arbor an ypsilanti will allow more people to safely bike for transportation to work/shopping etc.

Dedicated bus-only lanes on washtenaw to allow more people to be transported more quickly an efficiently. De-prioritize/deincentivize inefficient single-occupant automobiles

Would love to see movement on making Bus Rapid Transit a reality on Washtenaw Ave. Not only could this greatly reduce the number of cars on the road by making the route between Ypsi and Ann Arbor more commuter-friendly, but it could also be great for economic development!
