The pedestrian crosswalk here automatically triggers a 4-way pedestrian crossing. I'm usually the only one crossing during the middle of the day and have no need to cross Main Street, and cars are stopped and idling on Main St. unnecessarily. Perhaps a smarter signal could be used here to use the 4-way cross when it is busiest for pedestrians, but allow pedestrians to safely cross without stopping traffic on Main St. when it is not needed.

Who owns this lot? What would it take to implement a community garden, small tot lot there?

There is an empty lot here that would make a great community garden or small public tot lot for residents living in this neighborhood.

North Main Street could use more shops, restaurants, and better lighting.

A crosswalk across Main St. would benefit pedestrians walking to the restaurant and other services on Main Street from the neighborhoods to the west

There are several small parks that are underutilized, like this one. What are the hurdles in getting food trucks to parks e.g. on weekends for a few hours/day? Wasn't there one across from Stop and Shop for awhile last summer?
