20+ year resident and Brooklyn Branch employee - this branch is vital to two schools and plays a vital role in literacy development. The neighborhood has lost many services - and needs stability that Metrohealth Transformation promises through the Institute of HOPE. Brooklyn is an after school literacy center and before COVID partnersed with the Nurse Family Partnership at Metrohealth. All CPL branches can serve as literacy check up spots for this program and pediatricians can prescribe books in our collection for family development. Our location is also popular for laptop users and I would like to see a lap top bar charging station at the front window and sheltered well lit landscaped area with table/seating for good weather use- and visible bike rack.

Work for community green space and re-connecting Clevelanders (esp. children) back to the land; and hike Ohio's Buckeye Trail. :)

Best: neighborhood amenities -Quality childcare at St. Augustines, the Waltz library, summer festival at La Sagrada Familia Most needed: More pedestrian friendly- improved and increased cross walks, more shade trees on Detroit.
