The system posted a comment for me, apparently, and there's no way to remove it, so I'll reply to it. I'd like to see something educational, themed, and DEEP. For example, we might have an open park where we can walk through a timeline of history, and see pieces of different periods of history, and have themed playground spaces. Or maybe a walk through the periodic table. Or a mega-anatomy themed thing where we can explore the human body. Or a cell. Or otherwise. Something with real community engagement to design, and that's usable both on a surface level and with depth. If we had many such parks throughout the city, it'd be awesome. I'd like this to avoid classical Cambridge themes, though, where there's already a ton (green energy / environmental issues, diversity / equity, local history, etc.), or even state/US-level issues. I'd pick something which we DON'T normally focus on.

Small business with arts & culture focus. (I loved Xylem, which had to move away.) Better space for farmers market- maybe a cambridge version of the new haymarket indoor market? No more banks, nail salons, or breweries, please!

local businesses that will sustain after hour use. Less coffee shops and banks.

Just a place I can sit and read and eat my lunch and play chess in the shade! Chairs, benches, awnings, sun shades, trees, a water fountain and lots of chess boards!

The space needs to feel welcoming so that people from all Cambridge demographics feel comfortable being there.
