Public space that can be used year round. Walk and bike path, gardens/ green space, space for small vendors or a food truck.

The DotGreenway will be best used as a recreational walking / bike path!

Make the building eco-friendly! Solar panels, using recycled materials, sourcing from local farms etc.

To make sure people aren't abusing the spots available maybe the potential restaurant you could offer valet parking and could utilize the schools lot which would be at night and after hours.

Keeping the sidewalk wide (as is), bike parking options, a few small trees around the space.

Hi, since a cafe/ coffee shop is opening across the street (Honeycomb Cafe) I think the neighborhood could greatly benefit from a small grocer - similar to Foodies. I'd also LOVE to see a farm to table tapas restaurant on the top level.

Make it easier for owners to rent their space!! There is a small commercial space here and I'd love to have the owner rent me the space to open a coffee shop however he seems discouraged by all the 'red tape' he has to go thru to do this. Please help and support people who want to own small businesses!

Parking lanes like some side streets in south Boston have so people don't take up two street parking spots.

Access to 93 North from Dorchester Center is already a pain. If Morrissey Boulevard is going to close for flood renovation, there needs to be a thorough traffic plan in place.

The beach area should be kept cleaner. There is always broken glass, needles and trash that wash up on the beach at low tide or are left behind by people there. The city should make sure it's kept clean.

Reduce density of DotBlock so as not to crush the area with traffic. Encourage owners to be responsible property managers.

The JFK T stop needs some serious improvement to the building. Stairs are rusting away, the floor needs to be re-done (missing tiles everywhere), and the roof leaks like crazy.

Work with owner of abandoned storefronts to rehab the building and rent the space in order to activate the area.

Access to quality early childcare is key for converting young professionals into lifelong city residents. If the city could incentivize childcare companies to expand into neighborhoods like Savin HIll it would be very additive to the communities. Then, all we need to do is improve public schools :)

Not just the JFK T stop but all T stations should have recycling bins. It's crazy to me that this isn't a standard practice. The only recycling that is 'allowed' are the metro newspapers.

This rotary is a major safety hazard and a huge traffic issue. It has come up in the past but there has never been a long term plan that is in place and funded. Work on this was part of the Olympics plan but now has been shelved again. This sees like a great infrastructure project to be tackled and committed to.

Poor JFK station, it needs a facelift! The whole station leaks like a sieve in the rain, and the surrounding roads are super pedestrian unfriendly!

Under 93 (the empty lot next to the JFK T stop) would be great for a dog park. There isn't one in the neighborhood and we have many dog owners in the area who would appreciate a place for their pups to play.

Savin Hill/ JFK area needs more small businesses in the food industry (restaurants, cafes, markets). We need more small commercial space to be available for these businesses.
Drinking fountains for adults, children and pets. Benches for resting, and waste receptacles. Solar-powered lighting.
