Thank you Shannon. I agree. 4 "affordable' units is insufficient with all the luxury low bedroom units pushing working and lower income families out of the neighborhood they have lived in for years. Green ways are great but so is respecting the families who have held these neighborhoods together before every corner of Dorchester is becoming South Boston and the Seaport without parking and with price tags that keep working families out.

Increase the amount of affordable housing units. WWJD? Affordable housing. The city is facing a housing crisis and people who grew up here, whose families have been here for generations, can't afford to stay. Now Boston is "cool" when for years it was a place people didn't want to be. It's disrespectful. In the Christian spirit of preferential option for the poor, I suggest making affordable housing, rent and home-ownership a priority for people who already live in the area.

I understand that you are gathering ‘votes’ on ideas that are already supported by the developer but it would be nice to have more flexibility in responses. I live very close by and would love to be able to share more thoughts: bike parking onsite, a space for residents without yards to garden, urban orchard (fruit trees we residents can harvest from), sustainability activity educational demonstrations onsite like the rainwater garden and storm water retention project at Ashmont and the Loesch’s solar house close by. Will there be a link to the Dot Greenway through Argyle Terrace?

I hope for a safe, well-lit, family friendly space that can be used for walking/running/biking with designations for faster moving lanes. Would also love to see gardens and interactive/functional art in the form of misters/fountains/lighting.
