Polls are limited in breadth and scope. Please provide more details. Also interested in having access to the community parcel behind the site from the community path. Will there be a walkway on the left side of 325 Binney as a desire line to access the parcel?

This project needs to promote community benefits that connect the Broad Canal to the Charles. It's important to not loose sight of past objectives to repair the Poor man's boat dock as well as create a pedestrian bridge behind the Museum of Science to help activate the Charles river.

Don't cover up the canal! A new bridge across the canal would be only for show - it would not shorten anyone's walking time by even a full minute - so it would be better not to divide the canal in two. For the same reason, initiatives that partially fill in the canal, like a floating restaurant, should be avoided. Most cities (look at Providence, for example) these days are doing the opposite, enhancing the beauty of the city by uncovering the rivers that they had once paved over.

Consider adding a pedestrian bridge from bike path to Fulkerson St park. This would connect Wellington - Harrington / King School to East Cambridge / Kennedy School.

With the loss of so much artist practice space (eg EMF building) and performance space (various clubs in Central Square), it would be nice to have practice rooms as well as a concert venue, not just a sit down theater venue

There was mention of a community meeting to be held on October 4th for the Met Pipe project. Is the meeting presentation or information available online for this project? Thanks

Critical to prioritize affordable housing and below market rate lab/startup / artist's spaces! See bow st market as an example of the awesome small businesses that pop right up given the perfect (affordable) space.

Think a grocery would be incredibly helpful in the area, as there aren't many options in the Kendall Sq area and you are forced to rely on convenience stores. Additionally, some effort to make the space a very active place beyond the working hours would be great! It's totally a ghost town in Kendall after a certain time, so any effort to keep the place active would be great!

Work with MIT to tie in the use to Volpe's planned public and civic spaces. Examples could include (1) a programmable space for music public events and markets (2) Additional open green space, landscaped to provide refuge from the increased activity of Kendall (3) A tot lot to serve the needs of future families living in Central Square (4) a community garden

Don't miss the opportunity to contribute to the development of the walking and biking trail along the CSX rail line. Your property at broadway and binney is notable for not taking advantage of the opportunity to do so, and this could be a great way to mitigate the impact of many new people you'll be bringing to Kendall for work, while providing alternatives to additional cars moving through Kendall.

I found only 1 event that took place after 6pm and it was over by 7pm and there are NO weekend activities for neighbors. As Bethany indicated, there needs to be a better sense of community for evenings and weekends.

This building has the ability to have events at it that won't bother residents since it is not near any residences...so farmer's mkt, music, movies, etc. things that happen at night or on weekend for those of us who live nearby instead of everything catering to the day time workers.

Bike lanes and lots of green growing things, reduce hardscaping. It would be great to see green walls and solar panels.

This area needs more grocery stores, small, affordable restaurants and less pavement. More green space.

Has consideration been given to the reduction in light to the neighboring rooftop garden that will be surrounded on three sides by tall buildings. What is the parking situation to accommodate increased building size? Traffic is already bad enough.
