Because of the large block size and (hopefully) community draw, having strong connections to and through the surrounding streets will be a wonderful benefit from this project. An aspect I really appreciate in current design.

Make sure that there is a sense of flow through the space so that it is not a barrier in the community but serves to further connections from on 23rd to 24th and E. Union to E. Spring. Ensure that there are some trees and plants. Architecture and materials should be warm and friendly, not cold and sterile.

Yeah, a restaurant would be great, but we really need to keep a mix of day-to-day services if at all possible, as well.

Really want to keep service amenities such as a post office and laundry facility. A book store would be great!

This neighborhood has a rich and vibrant history. African American, Sephardic and Ashkenazic Jews, Italian, Chinese, Japanese immigrants. The red line brought many people together. Maybe there can be some historical art pieces to remind and educate. Room for youth programs would be terrific.
