As a regular dog walker uptown, I have noticed that dog waste is a problem, especially along Germain Street. Could we install dog waste bag dispensers in a few locations on the central peninsula? They could even be sponsored.

IMHO, Harbour Passage is one of the greatest additions to the peninsula. More of this please :)

We should have a tree canopy/planting goal for the neighbourhood. Many of our streets have little or no trees.

As a previous resident of the peninsula, I have always felt there needs to be some better draw for young urban families. Maybe designating some areas of the peninsula as "family friendly zones". These areas could be used to host slower speed limits (or speed bumps), more green space and playgrounds, mixed among high density areas. I realize we have access to places like Rainbow park and queen square but having a more focused approach on pulling families into the core would be nice.

Convert one section of Uptown street to pedestrian only and leverage our waterfront to displace parking with a ten minute water-taxi to affordable parking on west side.
