Racial and economic equity

Smoking, secondhand smoke, and thirdhand smoke (i.e. tobacco residue that can cyclically off-gas and reabsorb) disproportionately affect low income people. I would hope that this site is as smoke-free as possible, including in units, common areas, patios, and not having designated smoking areas. Cessation services should be publicized - the state just updated its tobacco cessation helpline, now called Kick It California, which is free.
