The automatic sliding doors at the entry to the Crystal City Shops at 1750/1770 Crystal Drive appear to have been replaced with traditional doors that swing outward, with door handles. If so, is this a smart move, given the Covid-19 pandemic? If the Shops and stores begin to reopen, a lot of people will be using those doors, and touching the door handles. Leaving the automatic sliding doors would seem to be a better choice.

Yes! We would love a branch of Maxwell Park Wine Bar here!

Water stations to refill water bottles. There are sinks at the Long Bridge facilities but unless it's very lively around, it doesn't feel safe going into such an out-of-the-way location.

Called "Gateway Park" on the map, I like the floral borders and twisty paths before you get to Long Bridge. Calm and quiet, with a pretty grassy plot for people to play with their kids. Nice benches.

I grew up near the Rock Creek trail system, and prefer those cool shady trails to much of the wide open sun-bleached options around here, which make it difficult to take long walks or run in the summer without bringing extra water.
