That area is already terribly congested. There are days when it takes 30 minutes to go 1 mile in that area! And the above reply shows the developers are not even considering the impact on traffic beyond the immediste area.

Open space. Uncluttered land. Areas WITHOUT apartments and shopping centers. Plus, this will just create more abandoned buildings in the shopping centers that already exist.

I DON’T want to see more retail space here. It just means vacant stores in the current shopping centers.
