Agree on this re a name. Also, among all the good ideas about uses: value of silence, simple walking trails, quiet hours (maybe more than the expectable night time), keeping in mind not overusing what wildlife needs without overflow of people around all the time (except residents).

I think a public gathering space for events, trainings, classes would be great. I'm wary of calling it, or dedicating it to, a single facility (Dance Palace is mentioned somewhere, which does have its own grounds). Issue might become that such facility dominates the schedule. Example: the Youth Center, now affiliated with WMCS, might also have a need for grounds for events, classes, etc., when school has its own events. Just an example of why thinking beyond one nonprofit would be important.
