Playground/garden combo. In brookline, theres a park w kids play structures, gorgeous rose garden, and soccer field. Lots of benches & green. This makes a space anyone can use as they like.

Swings for grownups. Similar to those on the green in North end. Trees, possibly fruit trees and flowers. Sprinklers/fountains to cool off in during the summer. Tables for cards, chess etc. A cafe or lunch spot would be nice too

There is no safety in place for the kids coming from Fulkerson crossing Binney. They have to cross Fulkerson to Binney on the Pipe company side of the street as well, so as demolition/etc. begins this lack of care worries me.

Can you ensure there will be police detail during the pipe company demolition/etc. for the many kids who walk Fulkerson to Cambridge St. Upper School/Kennedy Longfellow? They walk through the One Kendall area and have to cross toward the Met Pipe site on Binney even if they then cross again to walk down the opposite side of Fulkerson from the pipe place.

Aircraft Aerial in Somerville has just lost its space and is looking. This would be a great addition to the neighborhood and add cool factor to the workspace.

Work with MIT to tie in the use to Volpe's planned public and civic spaces. Examples could include (1) a programmable space for music public events and markets (2) Additional open green space, landscaped to provide refuge from the increased activity of Kendall (3) A tot lot to serve the needs of future families living in Central Square (4) a community garden

Don't miss the opportunity to contribute to the development of the walking and biking trail along the CSX rail line. Your property at broadway and binney is notable for not taking advantage of the opportunity to do so, and this could be a great way to mitigate the impact of many new people you'll be bringing to Kendall for work, while providing alternatives to additional cars moving through Kendall.

Please make sure to include the voices of ethnic and racial minorities. If adding restaurants, coffee shops etc, please make sure they are affordable and preferably minority owned.

We have constant noise issue in the area from venting on lab buildings. Please build in anything possible to avoid adding to the din.

This building has the ability to have events at it that won't bother residents since it is not near any residences...so farmer's mkt, music, movies, etc. things that happen at night or on weekend for those of us who live nearby instead of everything catering to the day time workers.
