Supermarket, small restaurant, bakery. It is the ideal place for development near the REM. It is an urban area. The City of Pointe-Claire will have to relax its vision of development in this area.

Cleaners and convenience stores are a must. Maybe a "bring your own wine" restaurant.

It will improve the population density while replacing an asphalt space with a space that will add greenery and housing. This project is very well thought out and it is a shame that the City of Pointe-Claire is opposing and blocking it. Rarely has a real estate development project been so well suited to its surroundings.

Independence from the city of MTL and at the same time easy access via the REM. An increase in the value of our homes

An authentic baker and not a chain. A small romantic restaurant. A small café to have a drink.

Attract consumers who have to go downtown or to Laval to find a store like this.

Good hoping to God that all this is true, I would like to know what is the first phase. I live in the O'Callaghan Way and I want to know if they are going to give section 8.

We prefer a more modest project with fewer 25-storey towers, and with planning that will avoid impossible traffic jams

Very little benefit. We would become downtown citizens

Very few advantages for us in Pointe Claire. Density and traffic jams are to be feared and we will have to leave Pointe Claire

This project will cause serious problems for the residents of Pointe Claire. We will become a downtown type community where it is not good to live. The density with the 25-story towers will be the end of our peaceful suburb.

If this project is accepted, we will need stores, offices, banks etc. The mobility of the residents is in question, and the blockages will be unimaginable.

Why not have a referendum and allow Point Claire residents a vote to determine what they think of this project.

Before thinking about building new buildings for seniors and families, we should plan to open a new school and make sure to offer daycare spaces first! Also, the Lakeshore Hospital is often overflowing... It is not new buildings that will meet our needs, but to respect nature, to stop destroying wetlands and trees that allow us to have oxygen and cleaner air! Your questionnaire regarding the redevelopment of the parking lot involves the proposed destruction of the wetland. We have had our share of natural consequences during the REM work. Let's think about future generations, they won't need more bricks, markets, concerts and overconsumption, they will need clean air and space! Do you have children? You don't have enough money, you need more?

During the presentation this past Wednesday, they mentioned that the apartments would be at market price, so no measures

Your presentation mentions that one of the target audiences for living in the project are single women, knowing that generally their incomes are below average and that you have no commitments for social or affordable housing (you have repeated several times that the prices would be those of the market), how do you intend to allow single women to have access to your properties?

Do you plan to comply with the MMC's proposed wetlands protection regulations? https://www.lapresse.ca/actualites/environnement/2022-04-01/protection-des-milieux-naturels/fin-de-la-recreation-dans-le-grand-montreal.php

This area needs natural green spaces to walk around in and a Jean Talon Market type market with a variety of market gardeners and artisans.

Green spaces for walking and enough free parking to get to the REM. All the residents living near the REM must be able to enjoy it, in addition to the residents of the buildings who can walk to it.

Do you plan to give discounts to tenants who do not own a vehicle to encourage public transit and active travel?

Is it possible to explain why it takes 22-25 storey buildings when the tallest in Pointe-Claire are 15 storeys? I believe that it is possible to increase densification with 10-15 storey buildings that will be less imposing next to the REM, the surrounding houses, the forest and the shopping mall that are at most 2 storeys high.

This will be very noisy because of the REM for construction of rental buildings or for elderly people. For the park, especially for the children it lacks parking.

We need parking to go shopping or to take the bus and the REM.

And to get to Fairview, for those who don't live there, where will they park? Is it going to be the Westmount Square kind of thing, or will you have to take the bus to get there?

I think the current parking area is required to accommodate all the vehicles transferring from the suburbs to take the REM. Otherwise, people will park in the surrounding area. I am against your development project.
