“Safe passage” are key words here. If a tunnel from the REM to the mall is created, this area needs to feel safe to everyone. Camera surveillance or emergency phones aren’t adequate safety measures, but 24 hr security presence would be a necessity to keep this area safe.

Another aspect that could beautify our area, would be to see similar things as the downtown core. Such as water fixtures/fountains, light installations (images depicting stories), high end boutiques, quality dining, museum, zip-line or Ferris wheel to name a few things.
