Some ideas that are not currently serviced in our community would be great to include in this new development. Garden space- the community garden at Toby's has just been closed and there are many people who do not have the ability to grow food at their residences. Swimming pool- there are many swimmers in this community who would benefit from year-round swim exercise without driving over the hill. There is also a need for swim lessons for youth, which is not fully served by Waterdogs in the bay during a short summer period. Community recreation center, including for art practice. The benefit of increased housing opportunity to a diverse range of people, which hopefully reduces the housing squeeze in West Marin, is of course the primary benefit!
