What do you mean by “affordable” housing? Affordable compared to current housing prices in the same immediate area? That area is currently one of the most affordable parts ofAstoria, and I’m concerned about residents being displaced. I’m worried the affordable units will be affordable relative to average astoria rents but still much less affordable than the housing currently in existence on those blocks.
