It could add more lower cost items to encourage higher local inclusion. When living on low income in the south end I was unable to afford a treat for my children here and only attended a couple of times.

Pocket parks! Where are all the pocket parks?! The Uptown doesn't have a great deal of greenery other than a few concentrated areas, like King Square and Queen Square. More street trees would be beneficial and small pocket parks that give respite from the concrete jungle and spots for residents to enjoy would be a great quality of life improvement.

I would love to see some small recycling bins in the south end area, just like the garbage bins on the telephone poles! Larger recycling bins in the uptown area would be great too! I've noticed that there really isn't anywhere uptown to put cans and bottles!

I agree with Hazel! A real Center ... people need to see what the Nick Nicole Center is doing and follow suit! We need a place that is "community" . South end is disjointed! If we had a place that was like NNCC that is including all kinds of community organizations and activities in one it would feel more "put together". Funding wouldn't be all over the place but could go to one place to help all of those programs together at once! The boys and Girls club just isn't good enough!
