We need someone who will listen to the city counsel. Right now city government does not feel like it represents the interests of the voters.

Housing and Commercial Zoning, and Transportation are the most important issues. Particularly, the lack of progress regarding the Alewife quad development is concerning. IT is clear that neither the City Council or Planning board are serious about tackling the concerns. While these folks continue to deflect, the costs of inaction grow everyday. This is the biggest opportunity Cambridge has to develop a large swath of land yet the urgency shown by the City reflects a lack of commitment and expertise.

Should have a vision that makes Cambridge a leader in policy, rather than following the trends. Should be extremely progressive and dedicated to upzoning, building housing, and safer, more inclusive streets.
