Prince William Parkway and Minnieville Road are the routes for U.S. Bicycle Route 1, the main north-south long-distance (Maine to Florida) bicycle touring route for the eastern United States. As such, both roads need high-quality shared-use paths, well-separated from the roadway (so they remain passable after winter snow storms) with little or no motor vehicle cross flows, especially high-speed cross flows.

An elementary school makes sense with the necessary residential development. So does a recreation, community, daycare, and senior center. A destination adventure park probably belongs elsewhere.

Transportation improvements

Place car parking and most deliveries around the perimeter and in garages and locate the development facing a close network of small, walkable streets. Spread out well-designed bicycle racks for visitor bike parking close to destinations. Include secure indoor bicycle parking for employees and residents in all buildings.
